Testing Visuals for CODES at Absolut Fringe at Moxie Studios.
This is basically the same reason I blog. For myself.
'I am interested in the idea of taking art (or museum shows/collections) out of the realm of ‘institution’ and into the hands of the individual, one does not need a formal space to put things in, in order for it to be valid. A museum is what YOU make it. You decide what goes in it, what is interesting, why it is interesting, how it could be displayed. It gives the reader permission to create their own portable (or not portable) show. It doesn’t have to be a public show either, it could just be your own private collections of whatever YOU find interesting.'

Took this photo back in May of Victoria Curtis and her partner in rhyme Una Mullally for a show called Come Rhyme With Me in Outhouse in Feb. It’s landed a full page in GCN magazine. tickets www.fringefest.ie

Cutting edge collective MIDASpaces are obsessed with all things digital. CODES is a digital fusion of dance, music and light projection. This breath-taking show follows man’s evolving relationship with technology – our addiction, dependence and struggle to adapt in a chaotic world. MIDASpaces – a Dublin based team made up of programmers, designers, and musicians – join forces with dancers Emma O’Kane, Rob O’ Shea and Roisín Laffan to create a dazzling spectacle – the likes of which Dublin City has never seen before.
